American Airline Baggage Policy Updates:
- Effective November 13, 2024, American Airlines increased checked bag fees for travel within the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The first checked bag fee is now $40 ($35 if paid online), and the second checked bag fee is $45.
U.S. Passport Online Renewal:
- As of September 18, 2024, the U.S. Department of State launched an online passport system, allowing eligible U.S. citizens to renew their passports online, streamlining the process for added convenience.
