I saw a post on social media asking if anyone was open to earning remote income booking resorts, cruises, and hotels. It was my introduction to a network marketing opportunity I didn’t know existed. I wish I had known about it years earlier when I was planning and booking my own travel.

That conversation led to more conversations. Along the way I learned that someone who is now my Five-Star Director had left a healthcare career to build this. I had spent 32 years in healthcare administration. That part mattered to me. I asked my questions, learned what it actually was, and decided it was worth saying yes to.

There Are Two Paths. Here’s What That Means.

Not everyone who gets involved builds the same kind of business. That’s exactly how it should be.

Some people focus entirely on booking travel for clients. They build a client base, earn commissions on every trip they plan, and grow from there. That is a complete path and it works.

Others,  and this is where I landed, also step into a mentorship role. They help other people get started and earn additional income as they support and grow a team.

What I appreciated from the beginning was being able to see both options clearly before I ever signed up. No surprises. No hidden agenda. Just information so I could decide what fit my goals.

And that’s what I want for you too. For the step-by-step guide on the travel booking side, read How to Become a Travel Agent in 7 Steps

What My Business Actually Looks Like

I’m Noel. After 32 years in healthcare administration, I made the decision to build something different. I’ve been doing this full-time since November 2024. For me, this business has two parts. The first is helping clients plan vacations. The second is mentoring people who want to get started themselves. I do both, and it fits the life I want.

The Part I Didn’t Expect: The Community

When you build with a group of people working toward the same thing, you are not figuring everything out alone. There are people at different stages of the same path, some further along, some just starting. They share what is working, show up for each other, and genuinely want to see each other succeed.

The community meets in person regularly. Monthly opportunity meetings and trainings happen in locations across the country, so wherever you live there is likely something within reach. These gatherings are a chance to connect with other business owners, bring guests who want to learn more, celebrate achievements, and hear from industry leaders.

I drive two and a half to three hours one way to attend. That should tell you something about what I think of it. Here’s a look at one of our gatherings.

Do You Have to Build a Team?

No. And I want to be clear about that because I know it matters.

You can focus entirely on booking trips for clients and build a solid, legitimate income from that alone. The mentorship and team-building side is an option, not a requirement.

For the people who do choose to grow a team, here is what that opens up:

  • Additional ways to earn income beyond your own direct sales
  • A wider network of people who are building alongside you and want to see you win
  • A leadership role that tends to make you sharper at every other part of what you do

What the Income Side Looks Like

I am a network marketer. I say that plainly because I know what some people think when they hear it. I get it.

Here is what I know. This is a 1099 business. We pay taxes to the federal government. Scams do not work that way.

When you join the referral program, there are multiple ways to earn income.

Is This for You?

Maybe you are looking for something extra on top of what you already do. Maybe you are closer to retirement and want income you can grow at your own pace. Maybe you are just curious and not ready to call it anything yet.

All of that is fine. This is not a decision you have to make today.

What I will tell you is that women and men of all ages and backgrounds are doing this. There is no perfect starting point and there is no one type of person it works for. What it takes is curiosity, a willingness to learn, and showing up consistently.

If any part of this post made you think “maybe”, that is worth exploring.
